What a very cute story!  I was lucky enough to go with my four-year old to see the show based on this story (see my Out & About page) so we read it several times leading up to our day out.  I love it when books can be read over and over, and not get tiresome, and this book fits the bill!  And would you believe it, this book is based on a true story!  Best of all, the illustrations make the story truly dance – my favourite is the page where Josephine sneaks into town to watch the ballet… Grab this one from your local library so you can see it for yourself!
