Another library… there seems to be a theme here!  The children’s section of libraries have come a long way from a couple of grubby beanbags on the floor.  When we were in Canada during the Christmas break, we visited the Centrepointe Library in Ottawa.  I could NOT drag my children out of there, they loved it so much!  Imagine traveling across the world to visit a library – ok, I admit it, I was slightly smitten too.

By the way, the French word for library is bibliothèque (bee-blee-oh-tech): what fun to say!  (Especially when your 5 year old says it over and over during the 15 hour flight back to Australia!)  Please, check out your own local library (or one far away, on your own travels) There are so many little gems to be found and I think councils are really working hard to make them little pockets of fun.  Take refuge from the noisy world…  (and let me know what you find!)
