I am so lucky to live where I do… beautiful beaches, great schools, amazing people… and the mobile library that’s on the back of a truck!  No excuses, my friends, when the library virtually comes to you!  We had a lovely time, escaped the heat and were surrounded by some great books (for a few favourites I picked out, head over to my Bookshelf page). 

I couldn’t help but think, for all those little reluctant readers out there, wouldn’t a visit to a library that is on a great big truck be enticing?  (We even got to chat to the driver and commiserate about the traffic, which is quite possibly the only bad thing about the coast!)  Like a bus, our mobile library has a regular route.  Do a bit of research about your library services – this might be your next outing to find a great book!
